Precision Tube Bending for Manufacturers

H-P Products provides precision tube and pipe bending for OEMs and manufacturers. We handle everything from simple single-plane bends to complex, multi-plane compound configurations — and our engineering team works with yours to make sure the process, material, and tolerances are right for your application.

Our extensive tooling inventory means we likely already have the die set your project requires — no waiting for new tooling to be fabricated, which means faster turnaround and lower costs.

Over 20 Machines. Send Us Your Specs — We Figure Out the Rest.

Our floor runs both CNC machines for compound, multi-plane bends and NC machines for single-bend applications — covering round tube and pipe from 3/8" to 10" OD. Four of our CNC machines feature stacked die sets, enabling multiple bend radii in a single setup for tighter consistency and reduced setup time.

You don't need to spec the process. Send us your specs and our engineering team determines which machine, tooling, and approach gives you the best result — whether it's a simple 90° or a complex multi-plane configuration.

Non-round profiles (oval, square, rectangular) may be available depending on your application — talk to our engineers.

Nearly 2,000 Die Sets — Ready to Run

We've built one of the largest bend tooling inventories in the industry — nearly 2,000 die sets and counting. That means we likely already have the tooling your project requires, no waiting for new dies to be fabricated. The result is faster lead times and lower per-part costs.

What's a 1D bend? A 1D bend has a centerline radius (CLR) equal to the tube's outer diameter — the tightest standard radius available. Here are our current 1D tooling sizes:

8 on 8 6 on 6 5 on 5 4.5 on 4.5 4 on 4 3.5 on 3.5 3 on 3 2.75 on 2.75 2.5 on 2.5 2 on 2

Tube Bending FAQ

CNC bending handles compound bends — multiple bends in different planes on a single tube — while NC bending is used for single-bend applications. Both deliver precision results; the difference comes down to part complexity. You don't need to worry about which one your part requires — our engineering team evaluates your design and determines the best machine and process to get it right.
A 1D bend has a centerline radius (CLR) equal to the tube's outside diameter. For example, a 1D bend on a 3" OD tube would have a 3" CLR. This is considered the tightest standard bend radius. Tighter bends (below 1D) are possible in some cases but may require special tooling or mandrel support. Check our Bend Die Matrix for specific tooling availability.
Yes — we can bend customer-supplied material. We'll need to evaluate the tube specs (OD, wall thickness, material grade) to confirm compatibility with our tooling and ensure we can hold the tolerances your part requires. If you'd prefer us to source the material, we can handle that as well.
For standard tooling, we can achieve 1D bends (centerline radius equal to tube OD) across a wide range of sizes. Tighter radii may be possible depending on material, wall thickness, and tube diameter. If you have a tight-radius requirement, send us your specs and our engineers will evaluate feasibility.
Lead times vary based on complexity, volume, and material availability — but our inventory of nearly 2,000 die sets means we can often skip the tooling fabrication step that adds weeks at other shops. For many standard bend configurations, we already have the tooling on hand and ready to run. Request a quote with your specs for a specific timeline.
Yes. We support the full lifecycle from prototype through production. Our prototyping capabilities let you validate form, fit, and function before committing to production tooling and quantities. Our engineering team works with you from the early stages to optimize your design for manufacturability.

Complete Your Assembly

Most bent tubes need additional fabrication. We do it all under one roof — no shipping parts between vendors.
